We work with young disabled people from the age of 14 to help them gain the skills and confidence they will need to find work. For those who have left education we have a team of job coaches and employment brokers who work directly with individuals to match them with a job which suits their skills and interests.Read more

Providing mobility equipment not available on the NHS.

If you or your child needs equipment that is not available on the NHS then we may be able to help. We accept applications from children and young people for mobility equipment up to their 25th birthday.Read more

Advocacy and Self Advocacy.

Young people with special educational needs/disabilities (SEND) can sometimes feel ignored, or that their views are taken for granted. At my AFK we work to help them develop the skills and confidence to speak up and advocate on their own behalf.Read more

Short Breaks and Holiday Activities

During the school holidays, we offer a safe environment in which young people with learning disabilities can meet new people and try new activities. Short Breaks are fun, friendly with a choice of activities. We charge from £80 per day without transport and £96 with door to door pick up.Read more
