my AFK, together with the Advocacy and Support Partnership and leading law firm Irwin Mitchell, are delighted to present a series of flagship seminars for parents, carers and professionals on issues related to special educational needs and disabilities.

 

The transition to adult life for young people with SEN and disabilities requires good planning. Join us on 27th February to hear from a range of expert speakers on housing, benefits, estate planning and more.

 

This seminar will cover:

  • Understanding housing and supported living options;
  • How benefits work once young people reach 18 years of age;
  • The role of the Care Quality Commission;
  • Understanding wills and trusts and financial planning;
