Transition to Work – for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)


my AFK and Haringey Involve invite parents, carers and young people with disabilities, as well as SEND professionals, to learn more about how my AFK supports young people into employment. You will hear from Elaine Harman, Life & Work Manager and Job Coach at my AFK, and Kenton Doyle, member of the Haringey Involve Steering Group, about the different support options available to young people in Haringey.


Join us on 28th February to hear more about:

  • An overview of the Life and Work Programme at my AFK
  • Real case studies from the programme
  • The experience of our trainees
  • The options for young people with SEN and disabilities in Haringey
  • Supporting carers in the workforce (with representatives from Working For Carers)
