Tuesday 1st June

Morning: Cooking

Activity Requirements: Wear an apron or clothes that are suitable for cooking as sometimes mess happens!

 

Difficulty: Easy – we welcome all abilities and can offer support where it is needed.

Afternoon: Basketball at Priory Park

Learn how to play or play straight away if you are a keen basketballer with our Sports Instructor. This is perfect for those who like to keep fit by playing an interactive game of basketball. We start off the session with learning the basics and then make it more interactive by having friendly competitions with each other. You will learn the importance of teamwork and communication while playing with your peers. This is a supportive and friendly environment and accepts all levels of ability.

 

Activity Requirements: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. Must be willing to learn how to play basketball in a safe environment.

 

Difficulty: Easy – we welcome all abilities and can offer support where it is needed.

Wednesday 2nd June

Morning: Drama

We use a company called Moving Waves to explore a range of skills including physical theatre, performance art, singing and drama. This session sets out to explore real life stories through drama, physical theatre, and movement workshops.

 

Activity Requirements: Must be willing to enter a world through your imagination.

 

Difficulty: Easy – we welcome all abilities and can offer support where it is needed.

Afternoon: Sports with Tottenham Hotspurs Foundation

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has partnered up with us to deliver inclusive multi-sport sessions. Tottenham aims to provide opportunities that enhance people’s development and create life-changing experiences through sports. Their facilitators are trained enthusiastic professionals who have a passion for providing a first-class experience. This session is focused on building your strength and increasing your confidence in a sports setting. If you enjoy getting your body moving and trying new things, this session is for you. By the end, you should be feeling stronger, fitter, and ready to take on the world!

 

Activity Requirements: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. Must be willing to get yourself moving.

Thursday 3rd June

Morning: Sanjuro (martial arts)

This session is focused on developing skill, movement, balance, concentration, and core strength. The instructor has experience in working with a variety of young people and different types of disabilities. This is a fun interactive session that helps you build confidence in retaining focus and strength. It clears your mind of cobwebs and energises your mind and body.

 

Activity Requirements: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. Must be willing to get yourself moving.

Afternoon: Dance

This session is focused on developing skill, movement, balance, and strength. This session is perfect for individuals who want to develop fitness and self-esteem whilst expressing themselves in dance and movement.

Friday 4th June

Morning: Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice, which involves movement, meditation, and breathing techniques to promote mental and physical well-being. These sessions are aimed at strengthening your body and calming your mind.

Afternoon: Jungle Falls Mini Golf

Jungle Falls has 18 holes of fun-filled action, packed with life sized hungry creatures prowling lush jungle marshes, cascading waterfalls and secret giant caves nestled within a landscape of tropical palm trees. If you enjoy getting outside and trying new things, this session is for you.
