About the job

We are looking to recruit a Job Coach to join our experienced and committed Life and Work Team for a period of one year (maternity cover). The role will involve working with individuals, assessing their employability skills; liaising with employers and brokering new opportunities for supported employment, volunteering and work placements; and providing specialist one to one coaching to enable young people to progress towards their own goals and objectives.

 

The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working with disabled young people and understand the barriers that often prevent them from getting a job. They will have a successful track record of supporting disabled people into employment and be passionate about their right to live the life they want. Your energy and commitment will enable you to play a key part in realising this aspiration.

 

Occassional evening and weekend work will be required; my AFK has a TOIL (Time Of In Lieu) policy.
